Gender Roles have changed so dramatically that even relatively evolved relationships of the 80s can seem like stone henge stuff by today's standards, especially when freedom is a core value.

This episode of Muse-Ridden is all about The What Ifs, as in all of those reasons we come up with to keep from doing something that might transform us. I have this theory that we can learn a lot about every other aspect of our lives through our romantic relationships.  Risk and reward, for instance, how to commit, what passion feels like. 

This is a song about all of those little doubts that can creep into your thoughts when you're on the verge of something potentially life changing.
