Welcome to day one of the All The Same release Celebration!

Re-recording the songs from our first album (Feral as Folk) started as a way to fill some of the emptiness not being able to perform brought with it. If we didn’t need to rehears for shows, and didn’t have performances filling up our weekends, then we might as well spend extra time in the studio.

As it went on, however, this project has become increasingly cathartic. I wrote a lot of these songs in the early phases of trying out my wings as a full time musician, and my love for them and my understanding of what they really mean has only deepened over the years.

Today I wanted to show you how All The Same evolved even in the time we were recording it. Songs sometimes have a mind and a life of their own, and if they have to corrupt files in order to get made the way they want to then DANG IT - that’s what they are going to do.
